For the each edition of That's What I Call Television, Fern Britton is joined by a different co-host - each of which had a different connection with our 'golden era'. Here are the co-hosts that joined her for the first three programmes.
Julian Clary - Programme 1
Despite controversy during his career Julian Clary has found his way into more mainstream television in recent years. That's compared to the years towards the middle of of 'golden era' where outrageously dressed and made-up he was working the alternative comedy scene along with 'Fanny the Wonder Dog'.
Matthew Kelly - Programme 2
Matthew Kelly was the long time host of Stars In Their Eyes where he repeatedly heard the legendary phrase 'Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be...'. During the 'golden era' he was already a key face of ITV output - being best remembered as one of the original four faces of Game for a Laugh and also one of the first Children's ITV on screen presenters.
Bradley Walsh - Programme 3
Although known most recently for his role on Coronation Street playing the role of Mike Baldwin's long lost nephew, Bradley Walsh was once a professional footballer playing for Brentford. For Bradley it was during the 'golden era' in which he was trying to make it big.
