Fern Britton is joined for each edition of That's What I Call Television by a
co-host who has their own very special connection with our 'golden era'.

Des Lynam
is best know for his sports presenting, and being somewhat a
'housewife's favourite'!

It was early in our 'golden era' that Des became
the main presenter of Grandstand and fronted the programme right through
until 1991. The programme went out against that other classic Saturday
afternoon sport programme World Of Sport on ITV.

Ronnie Corbett
has been best known as one of the Two Ronnies alongside
his comedy partner Ronnie Barker, their programme ran from 1971 until
1987.

However, it was between 1981 and 1987 that Ronnie made his greatest
solo performance in Sorry! as Timothy Lumsden, a 41 year-old still living
at home with his domineering mother and hen-pecked father.

Ronnie co-hosted our 2007 Christmas Special.

Fern's been joined so far on That's What I Call Television by Julian Clary, Matthew Kelly and Bradley Walsh.
